Since The Manfreds re-formed in 1991, they have been in constant demand throughout the World…understandably considering the number of top ten hits they had, not only with The Manfreds, but also individually. 2008 is no different, a tour of USA in the spring, followed by a tour of Australia and then the UK tour of their highly acclaimed ‘Maximum Rhythm ‘n’ Blues’ show.

The Manfreds feature Paul Jones (also a Radio 2 DJ) and Mike D'Abo, plus original members Tom McGuiness and Mike Hugg – from the Manfred Mann band. Their amazing catalogue of hits includes 16 Top Twenty Hits and 3 Number Ones including ‘Do Wah Diddy’, ‘Mighty Quinn’, ‘5-4-3-2-1’, ‘Pretty Flamingo’, ‘Sha La La’, ‘If You Gotta Go, Go Now’, ‘Ha Ha Said The Clown’, ‘Semi Detatched Suburban’ ‘My Name is Jack and many more! Mike D’Abo has his own incredible track record as hit songwriter of ‘Handbags and Gladrags’ (yes that song, the one done by Rod Stewart & the Stereophonics) and ‘Build Me Up Buttercup’.

The Manfred’s will perform two 50 minute sets for us taking us through to 11.15

Please show your appreciation to all the wonderful support acts who have performed free of charge to help support our charitable association.
